The Rock Island Armory XT Magnum Target is a 1911-style semiautomatic pistol chambered in .22 WMR. Its five-inch pinned solid barrel and delayed blowback operating system are designed to deliver dependable function and match-oriented accuracy. A fiber optic front sight and adjustable MPS2 rear sight provide a clear aiming reference, while the skeletonized trigger includes an adjustable overtravel stop. G10 grips, front and rear slide serrations, a combat hammer, and an extended beavertail grip safety complete the practical target configuration.

22 WMR in a 1911? Heck...
22 WMR in a 1911? Heck ya and RIA made a perfect one. They make a big bang with some fire out the barrel. Definitely fun to shoot! My XT Target runs CCI Maxi Mag with no problems. I also tried Winchester X Super 22 win mag 40 grain also no problems. Very happy with this gun and I lucked out that Bud's had this model at a great price. I put some cool rosewood grips on.

I have been wanting...
I have been wanting the rock island armory XT M target for long time. Have been watching videos and reviews on it. So I was prepared to get a lot of malfunctions. Got to the range today and to my astonishment not a single issue. 50rds of Hornady & 125rds of coins. Pistol is very accurate and so far runs like a highly tuned sewing machine. It has to be the loudest Crack I have ever heard from a 22 magnum.
