A: Joey - I've owned both and they are pretty much the same, as far as racking the slide.

A: Joey - One thing to remember is that all of these smaller pistols will get somewhat easier to rack the slide after firing several rounds - they loosen up just a bit, and the springs get 'broken in'.

A: A little harder, the Smith has a little more to get a hold of but it wasn't a problem racking the LCP.
