The Ruger SR1911 Target is a full-size single-action pistol chambered in .45 ACP and built with a stainless steel frame, slide, barrel, and bushing. Its five-inch barrel and precision-machined slide-to-frame fit support consistent accuracy, while the adjustable target sights help refine point of aim. The lightweight aluminum skeletonized trigger features an adjustable over-travel stop for a crisp break and positive reset. A manual thumb safety and grip safety provide the familiar 1911 control layout. The pistol includes two stainless steel magazines and a bushing wrench.

I would say this is a...
I would say this is a very good 1911 for the money. A couple of issues are worthy of mention, however. First, the grip safety was rather loose and prone to rattling, although fully functional. An adjustment of the sear spring fixed this issue. Second, the breech face has a slightly raised area on the edge, which causes indentions on the case head when chambered and fired. This is not an uncommon problem with 1911s, but one that could be avoided with better quality control. The only fix is to replace the slide or file the raised area, a very tricky process. It doesn't seem to adversely affect functionality, however. Overall this is a quality Gun.
