A: This is a striker fired pistol. Some striker fired guns are considered more similar to a single action such as the canick series and the walther p99, because they have a "pre-coked" striker. So when this became a trend many manufacturers (including SW) started labeling their non precoked striker fired guns as "double action" the trigger on this model is going to be similar to a glock, or sig p320, it is not as light and short as a canick or vp9, or CZ, or P99, but it is decent, and there are lots of aftermarket triggers available if you decide you want one a little better
