I've had my Sig P226R...
I've had my Sig P226R 40 S&W for several months now and have put nearly 1000 rounds through it. The good news is that It is very accurate, reliable and VERY easy to convert to other calibers. Changing to 357-SIG requires just a barrel change; same mags & recoil spring. Changing to 9mm requires a kit including the lighter slide; unfortunately, the 9mm kit has been on back order for several months. The Sig 22LR kit saves a enough on ammo costs to quickly pay for itself, however the slide does not lock back without changing to an after-market magazine follower. My only other gripe is that the trigger was considerably heavier than Sig's OEM specs. It measured at 11.15# DA and .25# SA after firing nearly 500 rounds. I sent it to Sig for a trigger job; it is now 7.95# DA and 3.77# SA. Much better, plus turn around time was barely a week.
