The SIG Sauer 1911 POW/MIA commemorative pistol honors American service members who endured captivity and those who remain missing. Built on a full-size 1911 platform, it combines a single-action trigger with an exposed hammer, manual thumb safety, and grip safety. The five-inch barrel is chambered in .45 ACP and feeds from an 8+1 capacity magazine. Its Blue/Black finish features barbed-wire detailing along the slide, an American Flag motif, and dog tags at the front sight bearing the Soldier's Oath and a Not Forgotten message. Rubber grips and factory night sights provide a secure hold and improved sight visibility in low-light conditions.
