Gun arrived at ffl...
Gun arrived at ffl dealer for transfer. Everything looked good untill I did a breakdown to clean. The slide will not slip right off the frame like every 1911 pistol ive owned. Didnt want to force it so just pushed on back of slide with thumb. Little bit of resistance but came off. Then went to take barrel and spring out and really had to push the guide rod in. Had to work it just to get the spring out. Its like a longer spring was put in place of the one that should have been put into this Ultra. Cleaned it up and put back together. Tried break down again and same problem with slide and spring. Ordered some new springs for Sig Ultra model through Sig Store. Dont know if that will help. Had to leave home for work so when I get back will get in touch with Sig bout slide. Had 2 1911s on this order and both have same problem with slides. The build dates on box are 2 months apart from this year. Ordered 2 other Sig 1911s couple months back and no issues with those. Dont know if these 2 pistols need a break-in period. Have never needed that for any of my Sigs. Ordering and rcvng pistols from Buds always a good experience

Absolutely love this gun. Fit and finish is exceptional. Going to the range on Saturday. Received as described. My only issue is I did not receive any kind of lock with it. In my previous two Sig Sauer handgun purchases I have received the cable type lock. Send me a Lock Bud's, thank you!
