The SIG Sauer 1911R is a full-size .45 ACP pistol built with a stainless-steel frame and slide machined to tight tolerances and hand-fitted for dependable performance. Its match-grade barrel, hammer and sear set, and trigger support precise single-action operation. The Nitron-finished slide features low-profile Novak night sights, while the front strap and mainspring housing provide detailed checkering for a secure hold. Custom checkered wood grips add a classic appearance and comfortable control. A beavertail grip safety with speed bump, extended thumb safety, firing pin safety, and hammer intercept notch provide layered safety features. The railed frame accepts compatible lights and lasers.

I love this weapon. I have place over 5,000 rounds through the pistol since I purchased it with no problems. I have used a wide variety of different manufacturers 230 grain ball and hollow point rounds including reloads with no problems. It is accurate and reliable as ell as a pleasure to fire. It is my primary weapon to carry. The night sights are great also. I highly recommend the pistol a a great purchase for the price.
