The Sig Sauer MCX Spear-LT pistol combines the modular MCX operating system with an 11.5-inch barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its compact configuration is built around a short-stroke gas piston system, ambidextrous controls, a free-floating handguard, and an optics-compatible top rail. The FDE/Tan finish complements the rifle-caliber pistol configuration, while compatibility with STANAG-pattern magazines provides broad magazine availability. A 30+1 capacity supports extended use between reloads.

This pistol is...
This pistol is amazing. It shoots like a dream. The recoil is slightly snappier, probably due to not having a stock. I can't wait to SBR this and unlock its full potential. It is heavier than a DI AR15. The upper is a few ounces heavier than the 16" upper from my DI AR15.
