A: Hi Michael, the LCI "Loaded Chamber Indicator" and/or Magazine Disconnect separates the CA from non CA models but not always. Some firearms simply get submitted for testing/approval before other similar models within a manufacturer and sometimes the magazine capacity is the sole difference.

A: Frederick, most manufacturers including Sig Sauermake firearm packages that have 10rd magazines so their pistols can also be sold in state that have magazine capacity restrictions. The pistols are exactly the same but just have 10rd mags included. The pistols will also accept any standard capacity magazines just fine
