A: the biggest reason it is CA compliant is because sig submitted it to CA DOJ and paid for the "required" testing to be included on the list. "The California DOJ has certain requirements for the certification of "safe" handguns available for sale in the state. Some things include a magazine disconnect, and pass a drop test".
