The SIG Sauer P220 Elite Stainless is a full-size .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built with an all-stainless frame and slide for increased weight and recoil control. Its DA/SA action is paired with SIG Sauer's Short Reset Trigger for a shorter trigger reset and precise follow-up shots. An ergonomic beavertail grip supports a high, secure hold, while front cocking serrations and front strap checkering improve handling. Custom rosewood grips and SIGLITE night sights complete the stainless configuration.

Beautiful gun and fantastic shooter. The picture is not exactly correct as the newer model has a smaller beaver tail. Fantastic weight and balance for the 45ACP. I wish Sig made an all steel version of the 45 P220 Legion. That would be perfection.
