The SIG Sauer P226 Elite Stainless is a full-size .40 S&W semi-automatic pistol built around the P226 platform’s proven double-action and single-action operating system. Its stainless frame and slide provide a durable, uniform appearance, while the ergonomic beavertail grip, front strap checkering, front cocking serrations, and custom rosewood grips improve handling and control. The factory-installed SIGLITE night sights support target acquisition in low-light conditions, and the Short Reset Trigger provides a shorter reset for quicker follow-up shots. An accessory rail accepts compatible lights and lasers.

WoW, and then another...
WoW, and then another WoW! I have been a big fan of Sigs, and this one surpassed my expectations. Fit, finish and details are perfect. This is first of all, a work of art. The craftsmanship is awesome. Firing it is a pleasure. It is heavy, 42 ozs, and I like heavy guns as I find them more stable to hold than a piece of plastic. Recoil is almost no existent, due to its mass The SRT is a real nice feature, along with de-cocker. And I might as that its a nail driver. Just perfect. Everything about it feels right, and its a real beauty.
