The Sig Sauer P226 Equinox is a full-size .40 S&W pistol developed by the Sig Sauer Custom Shop for dependable performance in varied lighting conditions. Its two-tone design combines a Nitron-finished stainless steel slide with brush-polished flats, nickel accents, and a lightweight black hard-anodized alloy frame. The DA/SA operating system provides a deliberate double-action first shot followed by a shorter single-action trigger pull, while the decocking lever allows the hammer to be safely lowered without firing. A TRUGLO Tritium Fiber Optic front sight pairs with a SIGLITE rear night sight to support fast target acquisition in bright or low-light conditions. Gray laminated wood grips with checkering and stippling provide a secure, comfortable hold, and the integrated accessory rail accepts compatible lights and lasers.
