I am happy with the Sig P226.\r The pistol fits my hand and the manufacturer made possible for exchanging of barrels is a major plus.\r I like the tightest of the elumination of the sights.\r I will add the P 220 made similarly.\r I need to adjust to the decocker and would add one con.\r The double action pull would be better suited to me if it was less than 10 lb pull.\r \r Ron

The Pistol:\r \r The Sig Sauer P226 Legion is as perfect as it sounds. I have put a couple thousand rounds down range with it so far and have absolutely nothing bad to say about it.\r The Gray Guns custom quick reset trigger is amazing. The custom Hogue G10 grips feel perfect in your hands; sticky but not too rough.\r The slide catch and decocker are all in thumbs reach and easy to use. This pistol also has an over-sized mag release button which feels amazing and is easy to access.\r Custom sights are clear and easy to see, showing bright neon green and glowing in the dark. This pistol has a steel spring guide rod and comes with 3 mags.\r I would 100% recommend this firearm to anyone looking for a masterpiece out of the box.\r \r BUDS:\r \r Amazing service. I love my legion....
I love my legion. After shooting this gun at a Sig demo and again at a range I decided to break down and buy one for myself. I will say that this is not for everyone, it is big, heavy, and expensive; however, it was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a large 9mm that was easy to shoot and very accurate with a great trigger. The trigger reset on this gun is almost unnoticeable, which I love. The sig xray night sights were easy to use and accurate out of the box. The G10 grips have plenty of texture and provide an all around solid grip on the gun. Overall I'm very happy with it. There are 3 things to think about before buying... 1. The smaller slide stop lever is very small, which makes it harder to release the slide when changing mags. 2. The grip screws are garbage, I tried to adjust them and damaged every one of them with 4 different flathead screwdrivers. Ordered replacements from Hogue that are hex, better plan on it. 3. Night sights are good, but not very bright, especially the rear sights. Even the front sight is about half as bright as my 10yr old PT night sights. I would absolutely buy this again, but those were the best and worst things about it.
