This means normally lower cost pistols that have low stock can be priced higher than normally higher cost pistols with high stock levels and vice versa.

A: Wouldn't worry about quality at all. Aside from inventory price reduction, the Sig pistols vary based on sights (this one has basic sights), finish (it's not a fancy finish per se) and grips (Hogue rubber vs laminate). There is little functional difference between the models. A solid buy.
