Same weight as my...
Same weight as my P938, so great training gun to save money on ammo. Night sites are a big plus, I bought this gun for a snake gun when I go fishing, very accurate right out of the box.

I purchased the Sig...
I purchased the Sig P938 22LR for my collection. The quality of the gun is really good with the exception of a couple of issues that I've had. The first issue I had with the gun was that the first time I disassembled the gun, there is a small arm that is attached to the barrel that fell off and I could never get that arm reattached as it is machined into the barrel. I replaced the arm in the barrel and tried the firing the pistol again at the range in which the arm cam out of the action. I contacted Sig Sauer, they sent me information to retun the firearm to the factory as they said the barrel had to be replaced, in which I did. I was extremelly pleased with the customer service from Sig Sauer. My firearm was shipped and returned to me within two weeks at no cost to me. The magazine is a high quality polymer plastic, however it's still polymer. There is a small pin on the magizine that allows holding the pin down to quickly load the magazine, that pin has broken so I have one on order. The biggest dissapointment with this firearm is that after the last shot is fired, the action rests on the back of the magazine therefore you cannot remove the magazine without pulling the action back further into the locked position to release the magazine. Really nice pistol but the action resting on the magazine I don't like at all. Overall it is a high quility 22LR pistol and was not downgraded from the P938 9mm. P. Davis

Excellent pistol! I...
Excellent pistol! I just picked up my P938 22 last night. Steve, my dealer, had a range right there, so we ran a few mags up the pipe. I started with CCI Mini Mags, which worked fine. Steve had a batch of older trash ammo, and it also fed flawlessly. Most surprising to me was the fact that there was almost no felt recoil. I have a Ruger 22/45 that jumps more than this little guy! Accuracy was fine, though I didn't give it a rigorous sandbag test. Comes with night sights. On a .22? How cool is that? One oddity - on the last shot, the slide doesn't lock back on the slide stop like most 1911s. It comes back forward a bit and actually locks on the back edge of the magazine follower. I thought it was a malfunction, but when I called Sig Customer Support they assured me that's the way it's supposed to operate. This is a terrific .22 in its own right, and with Bud's great pricing folks should be all over it. This is the perfect trainer for women, teens or beginners, and with all the 9mm P938s out there, it ought to sell like sunscreen at a nudist colony.
