Wow, what a disappointment (dramatically shaking my head)... I'm giving it two stars just because it was flawlessly reliable no matter what I did to it, and great service as always from Bud's, but the positives end there. This thing is a well-tuned used diaper filled with bad dreams. Here's the rundown, but first some things the description doesn't tell you: This pistol comes with two (2) ten-round magazines and NO spare grip panel (and good luck finding replacements online. Even Sig's website doesn't sell them). All the other usual goodies (manual, baggies, bike lock, etc) are included as well. TESTING - 500 rounds 124gr WInchester white box in one session, in-door range. Now, the first thing you'll notice is the trigger. It's quite smooth on double action and breaks decently, while the single action has a bit of creep but breaks the same as DA. There's an audible/tactile reset and the over-travel on follow-up shots is minimal. Double-taps and grouped pairs are do-able. That being said, this trigger is so spongy you can actually soak up water with it. It straight-up bounces. Plan on at least 200 rounds just getting used to it. The break is way far back to the frame and it just doesn't feel like it's going to work right so you end up trying to compensate by moving your trigger finger around to get a better feel. I went through 500 rounds in ideal conditions and I still wasn't happy with my groups, and I can keyhole with the garbage trigger on an M9. The second thing is the magazine-to-frame lock-up. In the name of all that is holy, I have NEVER lost as much flesh changing mags as I have on this thing. The awkward mag well does this kind of stepped cut-out that requires you to move your firing hand pinky out of the way or it is GOING to get caught. I'm 5'8" with medium hands (which my girlfriend says are a good size) and if I'm getting my fingers chewed up, forget having bigger mitts. And while we're talking about hunks of hands going missing, the texturing on the grip runs too high for two hands. If you do the standard support-hand-palm-in-what's-left-of-the-grip grip, you'll notice the skin near your support hand thumb rubbing away on every shot until it bleeds. Another big problem, and this may be limited to my gun but you should know about it too, is that sling-shotting or power-stroking doesn't work. Something is off with the follower connection to the slide that says to the gun, "Nope, gotta keep this slide open." The only successful way I found to disengage the slide stop and chamber a round off a fresh mag is with the slide release lever, which is fine, but if you're a lefty or pretending you're a character in Call Of Duty, you've got a 50-50 chance you'll load a round. I've tried it with full mags, half mags, NO mag and it will not slingshot into battery. This is getting a little long so let me just start rapid-firing the rest of the critiques... The recoil spring is a joke and allows way too much felt recoil force back to the hand. It's feels taller than a Sig P220 and that thing is a double-decker bus. The creases in the polymer frame where the slabs were melted together are rough and the one under the trigger guard will start gnawing on your middle finger. I have to use a HAMMER TO DISASSEMBLE THE THING because the cross-pin lock style does not want to come loose for anything in the world. The mag springs are quite stiff and the holes in the mags for round counts are for five and ten rounds and... that's it, two holes. Oh, and the holes are on the side of the mag frame for some bizarre reason, making it trickier to check the round count with a standard loading grip on the mag. The are almost no holsters for this hot pile. The night sights... are pretty good, I can't deny that. But even the de-cocker wears on your thumb after a while because it's got sharp edges. I've shot a lot of pistols and this ranks up there with the Walther PPK for Least Comfortable Pistol to Shoot. I dropped $500 for what I THOUGHT was a Sig, but this is no Sig. It's clearly some kind of hate mail to a former boss who once drove over the designer's foot; this thing was designed out of spite. No wonder Sig never talks about it.
