Smith & Wessons 4013TSW is a wll desgned, attractive handgun. It incorporates many desireable features. What I like best is the loaded chamber port on the barrel which allows you to see if the chamber is loaded without retracting the slide. Being a tactical weapon, the 4013TSW has an ambidextrious decocker, Novak combat sights, a bobbed hammer and of course an equipment rail for flashlight or laser sight. The slide is matte stainless steel while the frame a lightweight alloy. The controls feature a matte black finish which certainly compliments it's looks. A wide frame allows for 9 rnds of .40 S&W in a very compact package. The recoil assembly features dual springs and a spring loaded plunger, sure to guarantee a long life for the aluminum frame. Out in the field this pistol placed tight groups in police silouette targets in spite of the short 3.5" Bbl. It reliably fed HP and FMJ ammo. Contrary to the advertised specs. The 4013TSW is actually TDA not DAO.
