The Smith & Wesson M&P40 Performance Center is a full-size .40 S&W pistol built for controllable performance and a personalized fit. Its ported barrel and slide help reduce muzzle rise, while the Performance Center adjustable enhanced trigger helps limit overtravel and supports a consistent trigger press. The pistol includes three interchangeable textured backstraps with palm swells, allowing the grip to be tailored to the shooter. Fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights provide a clear sight picture, and the black polymer frame is paired with a black stainless steel slide. Two 15-round magazines are included.

Good solid weapon… Shoots better than I do… I have no doubt, if this handgun were in the right hands, you could drive nails with it… I have fired multiple boxes of full metal jacket rounds through it with no trouble.

Tell you what, I've been looking at this gun for months saving the money to get it. I'm a big fan of the S&W Shield Performance family but when I got turned onto the Performance Series, this gun got my attention - it's AMAZING. GREAT LOOKING gun. I will say that at this point I haven't shot it but hope to this weekend. On the Buds side of the house - I was so impressed - they shipped it FAST - 2 days to my FFL! The whole experience was great, the gun is great - I don't care if I shoot it or not, It's just fun to look at and to hold!
