Its compact-size frame is chambered in .40 S&W and uses a four-inch stainless steel barrel with a corrosion-resistant Armornite finish. The M2.0 trigger provides a light, crisp pull with a tactile and audible reset, while the low bore axis helps reduce perceived recoil. An aggressive grip texture, an 18-degree grip angle, and four interchangeable palmswell inserts help provide a secure, personalized hold. The pistol also includes an accessory rail, visual loaded-chamber indicator, ambidextrous thumb safety, and an integrated trigger safety.

I really like this...
I really like this brand of firearm that Smith & Wesson has put out. This is my second 40 caliber that I purchased of this model only my first one did not come with the manual safety as to why I purchased this. All the features on this pistol suit me well .It might take some people to get use to the aggressive grips because they are indeed more than other brands. I love the way it shoots and my groups are very tight.

Awesome gun! I love the way the M&P fits in my hand, the new grips on the 2.0 are amazing the gun doesn't move around in your hand at all. Love the 13+1 capacity. The only thing is I wish I would have waited for the model without a safety to be in stock. It's rather annoying but I can deal with it.
