Its 4.25-inch stainless steel barrel and black Armornite-finished slide provide a durable service-pistol configuration, while the polymer frame helps keep the unloaded weight to 25.9 ounces. The aggressively textured grip includes four interchangeable palmswell inserts to help tailor hand fit and trigger reach. An extended stainless steel chassis enhances frame rigidity, and the M2.0 trigger delivers a crisp break with a tactile and audible reset. This no-thumb-safety model uses an integrated hinged trigger safety and includes two 15-round magazines.

This pistol is classic...
This pistol is classic S&W M&P. I've fired hundreds of rounds through mine with mostly reloads from mild to wild and have had zero issues. It feeds, functions and fires with amazing accuracy every time. I've tried to become a Glock fan but as long as S&W keeps making the M&P line it just isn't going to happen. The grip angle just suits me better and perfect function and accuracy are hard to argue with. I own a lot of handguns but this one maintains a place on my bedside table every night when I go to bed. A 40 in a full size is hard to beat.

I love this gun, I know people complain about the rough grip but I love it, I have large hands and the grip makes it feel very secure in my hand even when my hands get sweaty at the range. As long as good ammo is used it is a very consistent and accurate, So far I have put 250 rounds of mixed flat & hollow points through it and have not had one miss fire or jam. I have switched to this for my daily carry.
