The Smith & Wesson M&P40 M2.0 Compact combines a durable polymer frame with the performance-focused features of the M&P M2.0 platform. Chambered in .40 S&W, it uses a four-inch barrel, a low bore axis, and an 18-degree grip angle to support comfortable shooting and faster sight recovery. Tritium night sights provide a visible aiming reference in reduced-light conditions. The pistol includes an aggressively textured grip, four interchangeable palmswell inserts, a crisp M2.0 trigger with tactile and audible reset, an embedded stainless-steel chassis, and an Armornite corrosion-resistant finish. Its ambidextrous manual thumb safety and articulated trigger safety provide additional controls for defensive, sporting, and professional use.

hands down the best...
hands down the best striker fired polymer framed pistol on the market right now. Ergo's are spot on, texture is just right and the trigger right out of the box is amazing. Get's better the more you shoot it. And let me say, this is accurate ! Sold all my Glocks to get the Compact 2.0 in .40 and the Full size 5" FDE 2.0 in .40 and never looked back or regretted it. Give the 2.0 a chance, your getting a quality pistol with great features for under $450.00 Along with the purchase, have peace of mind knowing Smith and Wesson's come with lifetime warranty.. There are a few more pistols I have my eye on, now Smith and Wesson if your listening, please release a 5" full size in all black. !!!
