A: Hey Leandro, the 2.0 is arguably much more ergonomic. Better trigger. The one you selected also has a 5in threaded barrel. But the 2.0 are worth the extra in my opinion. There are rebates going on with the S&W pistols now too. Hope that helps!

A: Bottom line Leandro is the 2.0 was revised by Smith and Wesson according to direct input from users to improve the old model. Many aspects of the pistol was vastly improved and aftermarket accessories will come to the 2.0 in time as well.

A: Yes, the M&P45 M2.0 has an ambidextrous slide release. So yes it's also on the left side. If you google S&W 11771 it'll show better pictures of both sides. Hope this helps.
