Though I have only run...
Though I have only run a few hundred rounds through this Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Model, I have to say I'm impressed with it. It is balanced extremely well, and the adjustable trigger is great. I have been able to maintain very tight grouping, and it has not been finicky with ammo, eating everything I've thrown at it. If there's a weakness to this setup however, the included version of the Crimson Trace red dot is it. Though great in lower-light conditions like shooting at indoor ranges, it does not seem to perform well in bright sun when shooting outdoors, even when set to the brightest setting. I have found I have to hunt for it when trying to obtain a sight picture. Also, it does not appear to "remember" the brightness setting it was previously on and offers a very small dot (MOA). I don't know if this is because this version of the Crimson Trace is "bulk" or a model specific to this platform, but I think Smith & Wesson should opt for the CTS-1550 or another similar red dot. All said however, I am extremely happy with my purchase and Bud's was incredibly easy to deal with, offering a very competitive price on the product.

The Crimson Trace red...
The Crimson Trace red dot was not useable in bright sunlight. The safety is easily engaged by accident, especially for me (left handed) while pressing the mag release. My GF engaged it by accident too, and she is right handed. It is common with this gun. If you are shooting competitions with it, this is a problem. Also, one of the grip allen screws was rounded out from the factory. I called up Smith and Wesson, and they have a new set of screws on the way to me. I was able to remove it by driving a torx bit into it with a small hammer. The gun has eaten 600 rounds of varied ammo without a single malfunction. If I do my part, the accuracy it quite good. Made one ragged hole at 10 yards sighing it in with the Crimson Trace sight. I bought this gun for the beveled mag well, competition shooting. It is not beveled very much, not really worth it. I had to remove the safety altogether, doesn't bother me, but might be a deal breaker for some. It turns on way too easy, no positive click or anything. Buy it without the optic, buy the tandemcross mount, then install your optic of choice. I put a Holosun 407C on top one day after trying the CT sight.
