A shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel that allows the bearer to fire the gun without burning their hand, except a slide that encloses the barrel. (4). A: The PMAG magazines have a great reputation for function, are synthetic, I believe are lighter than aluminum versions. Also there have some great deals on them recently, including one with 10 PMAGs included with purchase of case of ammo (1000rd).

A: Tim - I have to stand my my "go to" mags here - MagPul Pmags. They are the best all-around functioning, lightest, reliable and durable mags I have found in my 45+ years of shooting M-16s and ARs. The best magazine value on the market in my opinion. They mesh with pretty much everything on the market. These ship without any magazine at all - hence the note "N/A" for capacity.

A: Tim - I have a 7.5" pistol I built myself, and have well over 1000 rounds of 55 grain ammo through it with no malfunction - including some steel cased Russian ammo. One could use the 5.56 62 grain but I've certainly not found a reason to do so. Every firearm has its own quirks, and if you have problems with 55 grain then try the 62 grain .. but I don;t anticipate you will have a problem.

A: you may get one that works great with a 55 gr. bullet and the next one off the line may hate them I suggest trying a box or 2 before you go to the 62 grain bullets if it has a issue with the 55s I would shoot the 62 gran bullets for 800-1000 rounds then try the 55s again

A: Timothy, The rail covers are just held on with small allen screws. Just use the allen wrench included. Loosen screws and remove rail guards to install any M-Lok compatible accessories.
