Description
Product Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911-A1 Champion Loaded Lightweight is a compact .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built for practical carry and defensive use. Its forged aluminum frame reduces weight, while the forged slide and fully supported ramped bull barrel provide a durable, accurate platform. The pistol features fixed Combat Trijicon night sights, a lightweight adjustable speed trigger, a high-hand beavertail grip safety, and an ambidextrous thumb safety. OD Green and black Armory Kote finishes protect the metal surfaces, while slim checkered rubber grips provide a secure hold without adding unnecessary bulk.

Night sights were...
Night sights were microscopic. Very hard to see even in total darkness. Trigger was very unpleasant. Would malfunction with any type of FMJ or HP.

I am very pleased with...
I am very pleased with this pistol and even more so with BUDS! I bought it through layaway using that great service for the first time and was very pleased with the very easy process. Once I made my last payment it was shipped out the next day and it was sent via UPS 2nd day air, something I did not expect but appreciated. I picked up the pistol from my local FFL 2 days later and I can tell you it was great to get it but it was even sweeter to see that the pistol had the newest Trijicon night sights installed. A great unexpected bonus AGAIN from BUDS....THANK YOU!!

Feels light, looks good, very accurate. Mine came with night sights, which was an unexpected bonas. Sprinfield gives you a handy dandy paddle holster too. I love the pistol, got it for a decent price, with fast shipping... Im happy.
