Springfield armory...
Springfield armory operators are my favorite 1911's, period. I broke this one in after about 400 rnds with a few different loads from Federal 230 Gr Hydra-Shok down to 180 Gr WWB down to Federal 165 low vel ammo. Within the first five mags I had two jams, and one failure to go into battery, this all happened with my chip mccormick power ten mag. After a couple hundred rounds things began to level out, and at about 370 rounds it was smooth sailing. My only real complaint with the operator, was that I thought its anodizing would be a little tougher. I put my TLR 1 on it, and it took a lttle of my finish off the rail. That is the ONLY reason I didn't give it five stars
