There is a lot of wow...
There is a lot of wow factor with this beautiful gun. I love the looks and feel. So far it has eaten four different types of ammo with no problems. A lot of fun to shoot and pretty accurate. Now to the setbacks for purchasing a new Springfield 1911 limited addition. You would think for the price it would come with a few accessories. Well, it doesn't. It comes in a cheap nylon bag with an Allen key that does not fit anything on the gun. The worst part being it does not even have an owner's manual. I have purchased a lot of firearms in my lifetime but never without an owner's manual. This left me with having to contacting Springfield Armoryto try and get one. Well, I did and they sent me the wrong owner's manual printed from computer. I like to keep my owner manuals with all my weapons for future references and this stunned me. I do not carry a cell phone or computer when I shoot so on the spot manual reference is out of the question. I am shocked that Springfield would leave their customers in a jam like this. I know I can go online a print a manual, but they are huge and there is a storage problem to keep them with the firearm. I think Springfield makes a very good firearm and I am pleased with the gun overall but not their cheapened sales practices. As usual Buds was outstanding from top to bottom but maybe with their buying power should contact Springfield Armory to assure manuals are sent with the firearms.. Thank you again Buds
