Chambered in 10mm, it features a 5-inch match-grade stainless steel barrel, a forged carbon steel slide with a hot salt blued finish, and a contrasting two-tone frame. The included Hex Dragonfly red dot provides a fast, precise aiming reference, while the fiber optic front sight and white-dot Tactical Rack rear sight provide a practical backup sighting system. Crossed Cannon wood grips, a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, and a skeletonized Gen 2 Speed Trigger complete the performance-focused configuration.

A great example of the...
A great example of the 1911! Due to the large recoil of the 10mm round, the recoil spring is much heaver than on my other 1911s. The red dot optic takes some getting used to, but that will come with practice.

Purchased the Ronin...
Purchased the Ronin for a multitude of reasons: 1) Love 1911's 2) Never owned or shot a 10mm 3) Have really taken a liking to red dot optics, my 1st on a 1911 4) Springfield Armory's awesome warranty 5) Sharp two tone finish. . Bud's got this right out and my LGS made the transfer, all went extremely well. I removed the slide plate, installed Dragonfly RDS and zeroed with a laser bore sight. Will add pics when time permits following the range trip.
