The Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin AOS 4.25 combines classic 1911 handling with modern optic compatibility in a lightweight .45 ACP pistol. Its forged aluminum alloy frame helps keep the unloaded weight near 30 ounces, while the 4.25-inch stainless steel hammer-forged barrel uses a traditional barrel bushing system for dependable performance. The forged hot salt blued slide contrasts with the stainless steel frame components for a distinctive Two-Tone finish. Springfield Armory’s AOS system accepts plates for popular optics including the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, and Docter footprints. Each plate incorporates a rear sight for a practical sight picture and co-witnessing capability. A wood grip, fiber-optic front sight, manual thumb safety, and grip safety complete the carry-ready 1911 configuration.
