The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP AOS is a custom-grade .45 ACP pistol built around a forged carbon steel frame and slide with a carefully fitted match-grade configuration. Its Agency Optic System supports a broad selection of popular red dot footprints through interchangeable mounting plates, while the integrated black serrated rear sight provides a clear sight picture and co-witnessing capability in most setups. A five-inch forged stainless steel barrel, tritium front sight, accessory rail, top slide serrations, two-piece magwell, and aggressive 20 LPI checkering make this full-size 1911 well suited to precision shooting and defensive applications. VZ Hydra G10 grips provide a secure, durable interface, and the pistol includes three eight-round magazines.

It has had zero...
It has had zero problems at only about 100rds in of ball. I don't expect to have any but I do want to switch up for some defensive rounds and try them out. The grip texture, fore strap checkering and the mainspring checkering are very aggressive. Personally I love that amount of aggressive texture and it doesn't bother me in the slightest to shoot it for long periods. For others it may be too much. I don't know why but the peanut butter color appeals to me vs FDE. The sights and trigger good. I have yet to try the optics system but the plates should be well built being from Agency. Overall I love it. It is my favorite
