The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Operator brings the TRP standard to a 5-inch, .45 ACP 1911 built for hard use. Starting with a select-fit forged frame and slide, it’s finished in durable black Cerakote and features a service-length match grade stainless steel barrel for dependable performance at close range. For night and tactical readiness, the pistol is equipped with 3-dot tritium night sights, including a tactical rack low-profile rear sight. Control and speed come from the ambidextrous extended thumb safety and an extended Gen 2 Speed Trigger, while 18.5-lb recoil spring tuning helps smooth out recoil for fast, consistent follow-up shots.

Amazing 1911. I have...
Amazing 1911. I have over 500 rounds through it (which isn't a lot) and have yet to have a FTF. I put a solid rear sight and reverse plug and GI guide rod from 10-8 performance. Makes taking it apart toolless and it runs great. Buy it. Don't hesitate.
