The Springfield Armory 911 is a compact .380 ACP single-action pistol designed for discreet everyday carry. Its lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum frame and stainless steel slide create a slim, snag-resistant profile measuring 5.5 inches in overall length and less than 4 inches in height. G10 thin-line grips, Octo-Grip texturing, and a crisp short-reset trigger provide confident handling in a small package. AmeriGlo Pro-Glo tritium night sights offer a bright, highly visible aiming reference in changing light, while the ambidextrous manual safety and grip safety add secure carry and handling controls. This Gear Up package includes a black Springfield Armory range bag, pocket holster, four flush-fit magazines, and one extended magazine.

Only 100 rounds so far...
Only 100 rounds so far of mixed ammo with flawless performance. Trigger has already smoothed and lightened slightly, but an ideal single action trigger for this weapon - not too light. Impressive accuracy and the excellent sights help tremendously. Very comfortable to shoot and carry. I bought this package for the value, but the pocket holster is too large and thick to be useful. It does hold the gun in the range bag very nicely. I have large hands but get a firm controllable grip with either the flush or extended mag, but the extended mag doesn't reduce concealment much at all. With the ability to put six or seven rounds of .380 wherever I want them, a gun small - and critically - light enough to carry in all seasons and all situations I feel well protected. Besides all that it is an attractive and well-made gun that I'm proud to own. The only downside, and not the gun's fault, is the cost of .380 - close to .45 auto cost. I will probably buy a Sig 365 as well mainly because 9mm has become so much more affordable to shoot, but the 911 will remain my all-the-time, anywhere choice.
