Its lightweight 7075 T6 aluminum frame and 416 steel slide create a durable, low-profile carry pistol measuring 5.5 inches in overall length. The black nitride slide and black hardcoat anodized frame are paired with polymer grips for a practical balance of durability and reduced weight. An ambidextrous manual safety and 1911-style grip safety support secure carry, while AmeriGlo Pro-Glo tritium sights provide a bright, high-visibility aiming reference in reduced light. Nice little pocket...
Nice little pocket pistol, although you will need to get the extended grip magazine for a proper hold and extra round. Does what a .380 can do out of a short barrel and is easy to conceal. I have prefer to carry my 9mm, .40 cal or .357 when possible, but this one is my go to when I can't. Good back up too. On the down side, I'm glad this has a safety. I had figured to not have to use it much, thinking I would simply use the hammer, leaving it down until needed, just for safety sake. Unfortunately, the hammer pulls too hard for me, unlike my .357, so I'm forced to pre-cock it, and rely on the safety. I know some people who don't feel the need for one, but if decades of shooting have have taught me anything, I can never count on a gun to be unloaded or unable to go off unprovoked unless I can randomly check it myself. Just saying... Anyhow, within it's limitations, lt has it has it's uses... nice gun.
