Description
Product Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin AOS Gear Pac pairs a full-size 9mm 1911 with an optics-ready slide and a factory-included Viridian RFX11 green dot. Its forged carbon steel slide and forged stainless steel frame create a distinctive two-tone finish, while the 5-inch match-grade, fully supported stainless steel barrel is hammer-forged. The Agency Optics System uses mounting plates for compatible optics, with an integrated rear sight on each plate. Fiber optic front and tactical rack rear sights, Crossed Cannon wood laminate grips, and a traditional GI-style recoil system complete the pistol. The Gear Pac includes four 9-round magazines and a pistol bag.

The Ronin is my first...
The Ronin is my first 1911, and this one's a beaut. The accessories appear well-made, and I already use the bag for carrying this gun and my Canik to the range with all the magazines. My only complaint is the optic. The dot is too large, too bright, and you cannot adjust the luminosity. It's probably fine for short range, but if you want accuracy beyond fifteen yards, I'd choose another optic for sure.
