There are "Government/Full Size; Commander/compact: Officer; Those will be the choices from which you will need to select your grips. Hogue Grips and VZ Grips re two of the biggest grip producers for 1911s, and both are quality products. But don;t look for 'standard' size. You need "Government" or "Full Size"

You'd have to step up to a Dan Wesson Specialist to do any better, without going to a full semi-custom 1911. These are just great.
