The Springfield Armory Loaded Operator MC is a full-size 1911-style pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Its steel frame and five-inch barrel provide the traditional handling and sight radius expected from a Government-size 1911, while the two-tone Black and OD Green finish gives the pistol a distinctive service-oriented configuration. Pachmayr rubber grips improve comfort and control, and the integral accessory rail supports compatible lights and lasers. Fixed 3-dot night sights provide a clear aiming reference in reduced light. The single-action design includes an ambidextrous manual safety and a grip safety, and the package includes two 7-round magazines.

Very nice weapon, with...
Very nice weapon, with attention to detail and quality throughout. Tack driver as expected. No FTL or FTF in 300 down the pipe to date. Like most in it's class heavy and bulky so as a result not a body carry for everyone. There are other options if weight and bulk are a concern for carry of course, but if not for the cost, this would be an excellent choice for most use cases. If the cost is one you can bear it's highly recommended. One other note on the weapon itself if you consider carrying this model. The grips are very textured and tacky. The WILL grab coverings and shirts. Something to consider. Buds service was excellent. Utilized the lay-away plan and it worked like a champ. Received weapon at FFL in two days which was as expected and in excellent shape with all accessories and paperwork. I will be doing less business locally as a result. Would and will utilize Buds again. Thank you for the excellent service and selection, I look forward to doing further business with Buds both in the near future and over time.

I'd been wanting this...
I'd been wanting this pistol for a long time. Finally, I bit the bullet (see what I did there?) and ordered from Buds (of course). Oh man, what a sweet piece. I've fired a lot of nice pistols in my day, but this is my favorite. Very tight fit and finish. My first seven rounds at ten yards yielded a nice three-inch group, center mass. So far, I've put about 500 rounds through it and still have not had a single FTF, FTE, etc! If you're on the fence about this, stop what you're doing and buy it. You will not be sorry, I promise. Just talking about it has got me in the mood to head to the range! Happy shooting!
