Built on the classic full-size 1911 layout, the Springfield Armory Mil-Spec 1911 in .45 ACP features a 5 inch match-grade stainless steel barrel and stainless steel construction with polished flats and bead-blasted matte rounds. The slide is cut with slanted serrations on the rear only, and the pistol keeps traditional 1911-A1 ergonomics including a spur hammer, short military combat trigger, and the standard thumb safety and grip safety. Fixed combat 3-dot sights and lowered, flared ejection port geometry help support fast, consistent handling. Cross-cannon walnut grips complete the traditional look and feel.
