Crisp and clean fit...

Crisp and clean fit and finish. This 1911 has functioned well for the first 400 or so rounds I've had the opportunity to put through it so far. On occasion, when letting the slide close, it doesn't complete closure with live rounds. But this break in issue is already much improved. As with tight tolerance, all steel 1911s, this one likes to run wet. Just lube it thoroughly, get a few boxes of ammo, and get her broken in. This is a great looking 1911. The ceracote finish is beautiful and appears to be top notch. It's a really great looking piece. Top it off with your favorite optic and you're good to go! I just wish that Buds would get in to the 21st century with purchases. I bought this with a bank transfer to save a few dollars over credit card. Buds gets the money immediately, but still hold it for five days. It's just a way to float the sale and earn interest. A few cents in each transaction adds up for them but unnecessarily delays receipt of the product for the customer. For my next purchase, I'll likely go somewhere that actually ships when the transaction happens. I don't have time to float someone's scheme.
