The Springfield Armory Range Officer Champion is a lightweight 1911 pistol designed for concealed carry while retaining the familiar controls and handling of the platform. Its forged lightweight alloy frame reduces carry weight, while the forged steel slide houses a four-inch stainless steel match-grade bull barrel with a fully supported ramp. The dual-spring recoil system and full-length guide rod help manage the recoil impulse of the .45 ACP cartridge. A fiber optic front sight works with the low-profile combat rear sight for fast target acquisition, and the Cross Cannon Double Diamond Cocobolo grips provide a secure, classic appearance. The pistol includes two seven-round magazines.

For a long time I was behind this weapon, until the day came, happy because I managed to buy the weapon in Budsgunshop online. When the weapon arrived in the armory of my selection, I picked it up and arrived at my house, when I opened the box I observed that I found a big problem, they gave me a weapon with the slide that has another model name. I quickly went to the Budsgunshop page and informed the support agent about my situation, I was surprised by how little capacity this person had, who informed me that the slide of this weapon the Springfield Range Officer Champion was correct with the name of Compact, she I did not know what he was saying, he sent me photos and information about the weapon, which I already knew, this person from the support agent did not know what he was saying, he ended up sending me to orient me with the Springfield Company since she could not help me anymore. Well, you know something, today my gun was sent to the Springfield factory because they say it was their mistake to mount a slide with the name of Compact, the gun will replace the slide with the name of Champion, thanks Springfield for helping me.
