The Springfield Armory XD-M 3.8 Compact is a .40 S&W semi-automatic pistol designed to combine compact handling with full-capacity performance. Its shortened frame and 3.8-inch match-grade barrel provide a practical balance of portability, controllability, and accuracy. The pistol features an integrated grip safety, trigger safety, fixed dovetail sights, Mega-Lock frame texturing, three interchangeable backstraps, an ambidextrous magazine release, a multi-position frame rail, and both X-Tension and flush-fitting magazine options. Springfield Armory is currently no longer shipping items with the XD Gear package.

Great firearm, I wish...
Great firearm, I wish they still shipped the XD gear with these, but I've had NO issues whatsoever, after putting 200 rds through this at the range. Bigger than I'd like for CC, but I'll definitely keep it as a home defense weapon. Absolutely love it!
