Its compact frame and 3.8-inch match-grade barrel provide a practical balance of portability, control, and accuracy. The black polymer frame features interchangeable backstraps and aggressive Mega-Lock texturing for a secure, adaptable grip, while the forged-steel slide carries a durable Melonite finish. Steel 3-dot dovetail sights support fast target acquisition, and the XD-M safety system combines a trigger safety with a grip safety. The pistol accepts both a flush-fit 9-round magazine and an extended 13-round magazine, with the listed configuration providing 13+1 capacity.
