Boring reliability,...
Boring reliability, surprising accuracy, and comfortable carry of 14 rounds of .45 acp. Shouldn't be news to anyone at this point that the XD series are just plain solid firearms you can and should trust your life with. This one I bought from Buds is my 5th XD. My round counts are not worth posting, because I'm positive many, if not all, wont believe me. Same with the absolute abuse they have been through. Only issue Ive ever had with any of them was actually during a qual, when I started catching all the ejecting brass with my face, the entire shoot. Afterwards, the instructor asked if I had makeup on, which I replied "its from the hot brass bouncing off my face". I broke the pistol down and immediately saw my ejector had sheared off. Sent it in to Springfield on their dime, and less than a week later I had it back in my hands, fixed.
