just got my 357 sig...
just got my 357 sig ive been buying ammo before it got here.got to say i put 20 rounds 10 fiocchi 124 grain in a group of 4 inches at 40 yrds and then 10 hornady xtp 147 grain same distance 2 inch group had 3 touching each other .for the trash talkers about recoil it has less than the 40 with twice the zip and zap nasty round.luv the gun been well worth the wait.this is my first time dealing with buds and will not be the last.they kept me informed all the way to delivery we had a small hick up on time but nothing major thanks bud luv my new dx 357.sig i recomend trying one

Okay..I have not fired...
Okay..I have not fired it yet so this is just a preliminary review. I swore I would never own a "plastic" gun, having always preferred steel-on-steel, but after seeing a review by World Champion Jerry Miculek (spelling?) I figured I would try one in 357 SIG. The fit and finish is outstanding...no blemishes or tool marks anywhere on the exterior..lockup is tight...probably tighter then any pistol I've ever owned. Pulling the slide back the first few times was tough..the recoil spring is no wimp...or maybe I'm the wimp?? The trigger...seems a bit long but dry firing and actually firing it is two different animals. I'm guessing it won't feel so long during actual firing. The weight surprised me...I was thinking it would be light...it's not! It has a hefty feel to it...which I like...and felt recoil certainly would be much less than if it were a "lightweight". I love the grip...ergonomic, fills my hand nicely and the gun points naturally. Many pistols do not! Disassembly is a snap...reminds me of my old S&W Model 59...fast and easy...and I like that too! It came with a holster...dual mag pouch...and mag loader. The loader is slick...it attaches to the side of the holster or mag pouch when not in use and disconnects with a spring and bar retention lock...press the release button and the loader slides off the Picatinny rail! One less thing to lose or forget when your at the range!!! Holster and mag pouch retention is adjustable...a nice feature too. All in all I like this pistol..it appears to be of the excellent quality Springfield Armory is known for. I own a number of Springfields' and they have never failed me!!!!!! Once I get this out to the range and run a few hundred rounds through it, I'll do an update.

This is my third xd I...
This is my third xd I have ordered from Buds, and I must say it is also my favorite. I own a 9,40 and now a 357sig and it is by far the best shooter of them all. The feel, balance, and accuracy out of the box is unbelieveable. The xd is just a great weapon. Cant wait to save up and get an xdm. They say they are the next gun of the generation. Keith S.
