Its 3.8-inch Melonite-finished steel barrel uses a fully supported feed ramp, while the forged-steel slide provides durable performance. The black polymer frame features aggressive texturing, interchangeable backstraps, and the XD(M)'s natural grip angle for a secure, personalized hold. Steel three-dot night sights support aiming in low-light conditions, and the integrated grip safety and manual thumb safety provide additional controls during handling. The pistol includes three stainless-steel 16-round magazines.

First and foremost, I have to thank Tara P. for her dedication and attention to detail and keeping me in the know in every step of the process getting my XDM to my FFL. On to the gun. The case is very functional, I received three 16 round magazines since I am a qualified professional. The finish is top notch, Trijicon Night Sights are great for day or night use. Lastly the trigger pull is consistent round after round. Overall I highly recommend this XDM for concealability and simplicity of disassembly and reassembly and the match grade barrel.
