This was my first semi-auto pistol to ever purchase. I know own 3 Springfield XD and 2 Smith & Wesson semis. I absolutely love this gun. I have fired different brand and grain bullets through it without ever having a fouling that I can remember. You will not be disappointed with ANY XD models...I can assure you. Disassembly/reassembly is quick and easy.

Can't say enough about the XD series pistols. Bought this pistol when I turned 21 I am now 30. Countless rounds down range and not a single failure of any type with numerous different brands of ammunition and bullet weights. Very ergonomically correct and a pleasure to shoot. Very accurate for a factory poly gun out of the box with zero modifications. Looks better, shoots better, more features, and just as reliable as any glock out there. Would buy XD series over a Glock ANY DAY. Not to mention tons of aftermarket performance parts out there for these pistols. 12/10 would buy again
