Just got back from the range and ran a plethora of ammo through this gun. Federal syntec HP, aluminum fmj and brass fmj. I am happy with it especially for the $400 price tag I paid at the time with 5 mags and a range bag but let me break it down further for ya.\\r\ The good: \\r\ PRICE: Bob Barker style. The price was right when you can find it on special (which I did) $400.\\r\ CONCEALABILITY: For a .45 this is a ultra compact very small gun and the print with my we the people holster and my kangaroo carry air marshal 3 is extremely deep and in practically invisible. \\r\ MAGS AND C.S.: Mags up to 7 rounds plus 1 in the chamber for about $30. Great deal and Springfield armory stands behind their product.\\r\ The Bad!\\r\ Trigger: I really expected more from S.A. in this category. My particular trigger has a long pull before you hit the wall and then and pretty heavy weight to it before it actually breaks (probably around 7 lbs). I understand they do this because it's a C.C. gun but I couldn't get accurate shots unless I was extremely slow and gentle with it but I did noTice I was getting better and better as I got use to it. I will definitely be getting a aftermarket trigger nonetheless. \\r\ SIGHTS: Although I really love the glow in the dark tritium front it is practically useless unless you have night rears (which I will get). Also they were shooting a little low and to the left but that may be due to me getting use to the extremely horrible trigger and the punch a super small .45 produces. \\r\ VERDICT: The benefits outweigh the downs. After a good trigger is installed and some night rears along with some dialing in I think this will be my everyday C.C. sidearm. Just get it while on a sale.
