The blued 4140 carbon steel frame/slide is paired with rosewood double-diamond grips and a medium solid match-grade trigger for a crisp 4.5 trigger pull feel.

Not sure why standard...
Not sure why standard is not a more mainstream name for a quality 1911. I have bought 2 now and both were fitted flawlessly with all finishes being higher quality than the cerakote most places are spraying their guns with. The engraving is nice but nothing special. Just typical machine engraving. Very good trigger as expected on a 1911 and sights on from the factory. Would recommend.

Light years ahead of...
Light years ahead of any pistol hovering around 1k. I cannot find a fit and finish flaw and the trigger is superb. If you don't like laser engraving go for the regular blued or case hardened. Better bluing than my Colt by far. It's blued like a high end shotgun company, not a regular pistol builder. Comes already dehorned, zero rattles, zero mim parts, made in America. Couldn't be happier.

This pistol is an absolute work of art, the fit and finish is spectacular and the attention to detail is magnificent. Every control on this platform is crisp and smooth, the checkering on the front and rear is wonderful and it comes with Novak 3, white dot sights which are easy to pick up your sight picture and are a low profile which shouldn't catch on fabric clothing. The tolerances of this pistol are right on the money. The entire frame and slide are beautifully blued and the double diamond checkered grips are flawless, it has precision aligned grip screws which is a great touch. Buds came through on this one again with lighting fast shipping and simple processing. You won't be disappointed with this item folks
