The Standard Manufacturing 1911A1 Government recreates the classic WWII-era service pistol in the original full-size Government configuration. Chambered in .45 ACP, it features a five-inch barrel, vertical slide serrations, fixed combat sights, an external thumb safety, a serrated grip safety, the correct 1911A1 hammer, original Armory grips, and a lanyard loop. Its Parkerized finish provides the traditional military appearance, while the single-action operating system preserves the handling characteristics of the original design.

I've purchased from...
I've purchased from this website once before and the firearm I received was dirty and in bad shape. I didn't think anything of it because shit happens right? Nope! I was so excited to receive this firearm but upon further inspection I saw that there was visible rust all over the firearm, inside and out. Even inside of the bore. There's bare metal as well. This gun should've been inspected and caught before shipping to a customer. This ruined my experience and will definitely be the very last time I purchase here.

Buds provided a superb service as always.I am a huge fan of Standard Manufacturing and their parent company Connecticut Shotgun / Galazan. I own several of their products, all great except for this last purchase. This gun has thus far been quite a disappointment. It fails to go into battery and jams about every second shot. Cleaned it and even used upgraded magazines with the same result. Their customer service has not been helpful. Buyer beware.
